Live in the Philippines

As many have learned, live in the Philippines and you can enjoy...

...A warm tropical climate... laid back lifestyle... low cost of
living... friendly locals... beautiful island ladies... English spoken
everywhere... low-cost, high-quality medical services... and the
ability to affordably live the lifestyle you want, on your own terms.

The list of reasons why people dream of an expat life in the
Philippines is almost endless. But, why just dream? If you want an
affordable, exotic lifestyle living abroad, discover how you can turn
your dream into a reality - and live in the Philippines.

To live in the Philippines is not a pipe dream. You can be one of the
many expats that enjoy the low-cost, high-standard of living in this
tropical paradise.

How to Make Your Expat Dream an Affordable Reality - Live in the Philippines

To enjoy an expat life in the Philippines, when planning, moving, and
settling in to your new life abroad, you need to know a little
something about the place: Things about the country itself, quirky
local customs - and how they affect you... the people - and how best to
act and deal with different situations... The local housing market -
you really don't want to make a mistake there!... How much money do you
need - the cost of living for the expat lifestyle you want to lead...
where you can save extra money from your monthly budget and, of course,
you really must know about the many pitfalls to avoid when you live in
the Philippines. In short, you need true facts and needful information
- not just the `pretty' tourist details and hype.

Any good bookshop has lots of books full of Philippine tourist
information hype. Go online and you'll find many websites and message
boards with pieces of info on Philippine nightlife and the fun exploits
to be had with local ladies of, shall we say, `financially negotiable
virtue.' Unfortunately, none of these sources provide you with all the
information and facts you really need to live in the Philippines and
make your life as an expat a reality.

Learn the Real Facts - Good and the Bad about Expat Life in The Philippines

Ask any expat who lives in the Philippines and they will tell you that
moving to and starting up your life in the Philippines is not all
sunshine and roses, beaches, bars and pretty girls. The truth is that
learning to live in the Philippines can have its problems. If your
arrive unprepared or unaware, lack local knowledge or worse, have
incorrect knowledge, your plans can (and will) quickly go wrong - and
you'll find yourself paying for and suffering through needless bumps in
the road before you can really enjoy your expat life in the
Philippines.

For an easier life as an expat, to live in the Philippines you need
relevant details about the country, its people, history, regional
differences and culture - all help you understand why things run as
they do here in this fascinating, but often confusing country. Know
these facts and you will avoid the common 'newbie' expat blunders while
preparing you for expat life in the Philippines. Think of the expat
guide part 1 as a quick `Philippine Culture 101' lesson - the first
part of your Philippines Expat Survival course.

In Part 2 you `Unravel the Bureaucratic Maze.' reams of immigration and
bureaucratic 'legalese,' has been boiled down to the important facts
you need for life as an expat - but rewritten in easy to understand
English. For example, visa details allow you to quickly and easily
identify what you need to enter the Philippines, identify the
advantages and disadvantage of the different visas, select the best
visa for your needs - and of course learn how you can get the visa you
want for your life in the Philippine.

Life as an expat anywhere means that facts and snippets of local
knowledge are useful, often essential to know. What you really need to

In part 4 of the expat guide you are taken deeper into life in the
Philippines for an expatriate. You will find this practical local
knowledge and experience extremely useful in helping you to slip into
the Philippine expat lifestyle. You lean about life as an expat
through light humor in topics such as... how you should dress and treat
local people in different situations... plain talking words of wisdom
on matters of the heart (or more truthfully, a smaller organ between
your legs)... Finance, the cost of living and how much you need to
budget to live in the Philippines. All of this and much more is covered
in the expat guide, along with practical and effective ideas on how you

* About the Author

Brit expat Tom Henry is a professional writer and trainer. He
started learning how to live in the Philippines more than two
decades ago and, through the years, has continually expanded his
first-hand experience of living abroad, and enjoying life in the
Philippines.
An accredited expert in the field of life as an expat, Tom has
written hundreds of articles for expats on how to live in the
Philippines, including among others; how to get the most from expat
life in the Philippines, how to save money moving living and
running a business in the Philippines and, how to avoid common
expat hassles and scams in the Philippines.
As well as being the creator and author of the Philippine Expat
Guide, he is a staff writer and editor-in-chief of the popular
Philippine-based expat e-zine, Angeles Xtra, based in Angeles City,
the Philippines.
Background
Following his military service, Tom's life as an expat living
abroad began as a military advisor in Saudi Arabia. He quickly
learned that expats really must be prepared for anything when
Kuwait was invaded just hours after his arrival!
After serving through Desert Shield and Desert Storm, after a short
trip back to university in the UK, he returned to living abroad and
regained his expat status as a coordinator at Jeddah International
Airport. Three years later he was headhunted to develop and write
manuals and training programs for international oil giant, Saudi
Aramco
Married to a Filipina early in his time in Saudi Arabia, by the mid
1990s they had set up their home base to live in the Philippines in
his wife's home province of Pampanga. After leaving Saudi in 2003,
they returned to live in the Philippines full-time, and for the
next 4-years Tom traveled all over the Philippine archipelago ghost
writing travel and guide books for a major Philippine publisher -
and of course researching facts and topics for his own Philippine
Expat Guide.
Still a working expat, in late 2007 Tom took a rotational post
spending each consecutive month in PNG as HRD Manager for an
international drilling company. During this time in PNG he wrote
more manuals, training material - and a PNG expat guide - all
gained him further professional acclaim with national awards and
international accreditation.
Married with thee children and six grandchildren, Tom is still
living abroad full time in Pampanga province, Philippines, with his
wife and two lovable, but playfully destructive bullmastiffs - and
he says, still enjoying life in the Philippines.

Enter your search keyword(s) and the keyword "zorgium" into the search input field of http://bing.com, http://yahoo.com or http://google.com.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
